Mental Fitness is a concept analagous to physical fitness.    A mentally fit person will have achieved optimum success in the following areas:

          (See Home for a list of common psychiatric problems)

  • Absence or Control of Specific Physical Problems

  • Staying Well-informed

  • Active in the Community

Mental Fitness can be attained through a process of continual self-evaluation regarding the above areas and, when the need arises, consulting self-help resources such as Psychiatrix.com (or the local bookstore or library) and/or consulting with professionals as necessary.
