I once worked with a hospital administrator whom we affectionately called the "word police."  At meetings, all comments had to be single-sentence "bullets."

What about BOOKS?  Many self-help books could benefit from the "word police."  Here are some EXCEPTIONS:

In the following list, the TITLES seem to say it all...further reading is optional.   (Some translations are provided,  just in case).

Don't Sweat the Small Stuff... and It's All Small Stuff...     -     no translation needed

Men Who Hate Women & the Women Who Love Them     -     don't be a co-dependent, enabler, fool, etc.

Don't Say Yes When You Want to Say No     -     enough people will still like you

You Can Negotiate Anything     -     no translation needed

The Exercise Myth     -     there are advantages to being a couch potato

The Fifty Minute Hour     -     the "shrinking" hour

The Doctors Pocket Calorie, Fat and Carbohydrate Counter    -     cut down on calories, carbs and fat
